Well, looking at the postings over the last 12 months it looks like us Bansko skiers are in a minority.
We have skied Borovets and Pamps many times over the last 10 years and thoroughly enjoyed it. I cannot stand the idiots who dont like Bulgaria. People think think cheap holiday and expect 5 sar luxury... WELL WAKE UP AND SMELL THE COFFEE!!!!!!! if you have been to banff, colorado, andorra or france then dont come to Bulagaria for comaprisons. Us tourists dont want stuck up nobodys ...

Very well said, although you seem to get a lot more for your money at Bulgaria. Although the price to go is simply cheap, it appears what you get is far from cheap.
Bulgaria is still in the process of Westernisation, previously an Eastern Bloc country - but it is from what I have seen on a mainstream travel site "the up and coming country for holidays".

First time to Bulgaria, and I can tell you something that despite what people may say about people going to Bulgaria, my girlfriend and I are both professional people, failry young and from decent backgrounds. I also know someone at work who visited Bulgaria recently and had a great time.
Giving Bulgaria a try for the first time this year, I am sure we will be back!!!
