Bansko in Feb/March

Hiya,

Me and 5 mates are planning a trip to Bansko late February, we are all in our twenties and only 2 of us have skiied before. Is this a good time to come over and can you give me a rough idea for ski / boot hire, lessons etc...?

Also are any of the pubs good?

Any info would be much appreciated, I've only ever skiied in the cairngorms so I'm a bit lost - thanks

Great time to go over ( i hope this isnt the kiss of death). There's loads of pubs, good food and cheap beer. Bars are always full of good friendly people so you can't really go wrong !

There are plenty of places up near the Gondola that do good deals on hiring equipment if your prepared to barter. Lessons are also reasonibly priced... There's quite a few threads on here about prices etc
