Hello all , i'm thinking of booking for Bansko week commencing 17.03.07 has anyone been there that late in the season much snow etc etcany info would be great

should be no problems whatsoever - usually plenty snow which can be topped up with the snow machines if necessaryre: Bansko in Late march
Just at the end of loopy week (invasion of the SKYDVD Skiers) Will be there to watch their antics from a safe distance, then report all to the board,I don't think they would have chosen that week if there was any risk of no snow, so you should be okay.

Yeah, Can't remember who I was chatting to but the SKYDVD Fest got mentioned and I was looking to squeeeeeze another week in at the end of the season, so thought why not go and gate crash one night!Hoping Smags place will be okay by then, if not I will be looking for some advice on the accomodation, will take you up on that drink.

Was there for the week of March 17th last year. Plenty of snow on the slopes. The wedther was a little warmer the days were longer and brighter. Also you didnt nearly break your legs as you tried to walk round town as there was little or no snow in the village. It a great time to go. I will be going earlier this time only because others within the group have other commitments at the end of march. The snow got a wee bit soft towards the end of the day but I would realy recommentd this time of ...
