Bansko in March

Is it right to assume there will still be plenty of snow in Bansko right at the end of March?

Snow is never gauranteed but based on the last few years you should be fine.

there was loads this year but it disapeared quickly at the beginning of April. To play safe you would be better off booking a bit earlier.

We went to Bansko this year from 9-16 April and there was plently of snow left above the upper gondola station, although not enough to ski back to the resort. However, the sun was starting to melt the surface layer each day so you could really only ski well in the morning.

It was nice not to have to share a piste with anyone though, lift queues were non-existent and the pass prices were reduced all April.

bansko is the best resort to go to if ur thinking of bookingfor later on in the season
