Bansko in early January

Has anyone any experience of Bansko in early Jan, could I be sure of snow ?

...over the whole mountain ?

...could I be sure of being able to ski back to the resort ?

Maybe I should have asked whether Bansko, Boro or Pamps would be best for low intermediates in early Jan.

We did Bansko last Feb and haven't done the Alberto Tomba justice yet (I came down slowly on the Friday).

I would opt for bansko its a better resort than pamps for skiing dont know about boro though as i have never been. where is the alberto tomba?

Tomba is the resort's black run. I have not tried it yet...may be this season - depends whether I have some Booze courage or not!

We were in Bansko early Jan last year. Snow was great - all runs open with loads of fresh falling. First week was busy as it is the orthodox new year - lots of Greeks there on holiday. Second week onwards was very quiet
