Bansko in mid-March

Can anyone offer an opinion on the usual ski conditions in Bansko in mid-March? We had a great time over the New Year with lots of snow and wonder if its worth going back as late as March?
Also does anyone know if the gondola operates in summer?

Mid March is normally the time of the skidvd Bansko meet and the conditions have been good in previous years. Last year was a bit slushy in the afternoons.

No the Gondola doesn't operate in the summer but you can drive to the the top of the gondola
