Bansko jan??

Hi all, we need to change our dates, again!!! was wondering if you could give me any advice as to which week, 2nd jan or 9th jan?? also hotel Bansko or Hotel Pirin?? We don't want it to busy on the slopes and wondered if the 2nd was busy?

Certainly is - full of Russians and Serbs celebrating the Orthodox Xmas on 7th Jan.

How about going the first week of February? Always a good time I have found.

I'd say the 9th if you have to go that early, better chabce for good snow coverage. We were there the week after that last season and it was fab. We stayed in Bansko hotel which was ok, clean, nice sized pool, friendly staff, food as you'd expect from a BG resort but this yr we are trying the Pirin.
