Hi, i will be shortly arriving with 6 friends and was wondering if the snow park had opened, if so, is it was any good? Also where abouts is it on the mountain?.
Was also wondering (apart from happy End bar) where else is good on a night within the town? Many Thanks and a Happy New Year to all
Hi Gaz, as yet there is no sign of the park on Todorka, snow cover though ideal for skiing is not deep enough yet, but fingers crossed this weekend will see another dump... We are assured that the park will be a reality this season, as they are bidding on some comps...

As for somewhere to have a drink, the `Happy End' is ok if you are happy to pay 5lv a beer (i'm not), so perhaps consider the `Friendly bar', the new `Queens', the new `Euphoria', `Amigos', the `Lion'... visit the new supermarket over the `Queens pub', great prices for food and drink for the apartment, and then nip into the `Queens' for a beer, 2.99lv for Kamenitsa, 2.60lv for Bourgas, and only 4.60lv for Guinness or Strongbow... cheaper than UK, which was not the case last season... The `Friendly' under the Fortuna apartments again are charging 2.99lv for a large beer, great band in the evenings, food typically tourist (pizza, burger etc) and good price...
Basically Bansko has around 350 restaurants and bars, and then there are the huts and takeaways...i'm sure you will find something to your taste...
