Bansko morning mountain queues

We are worried! About to confirm a weeks family ski holiday 9 feb to Bansko but today have been rather put off my many comments about long morning queues to get up the mountain - many comments seemed to have been over the christmas holls - and 9th Feb is not UK half term week (which is the following week) - so I am hoping we may be lucky however ....... but could do with some 'inside' knowledge - the thought of queuing for 2-3 hours makes me want to book France!

An alternative would be to book Bovorets but reviews seem to indicate Bansko is more family and slightly more up market with slightly better skiing for more advanced (we are a very mixed ability groups!) again - inside comments very welcome before I press that button!

DON'T PRESS THE BUTTON Razz

Only joking , Bansko wins hands down for families over Borovets

QUEUE WISE , if you get there early enough , queues are minimal .

Worse case you can booma private transfer up the hill , and anyway when it gets busy Ulen also put free buses on to take ppl up

We have already purchased out pass's, do you know if you can upgrade to the priority pass? This is our first time in Bansko, we normally ski at Boro.

Cheers

re: Bansko morning mountain queues

The Kempinski fast track pas is for hotel guests only , and its actually more expensive than the normal pass ( but then you do sometime dont have to queue)

You cant upgrade , the only other way of fast tracking is by buying a season pass

Even tempting a Ulen employee with a back hander no longer happens Wink

David - when are you out? Unless you get unlucky with your dates or go in UK half term, sounds like it should be fine....
