Well less than a week to go until we get to Bansko for a weekend Jaunt.
Should be arriving there mid Friday afternoon.
Will the Casino's & ten pin bowling be open?
Also any updates on the Lion Bar - fancy watching the Rugby games there (did last time & very good atmosphere).
Is the friendly bar open? & is the Happy End open?
Thanks.

Welshy..
The bar you describe in the square is definately open, the casino is also down from the Lion. The Lion itself is being refurbished, the Friendly, Happy End, will open mid to late November...
Zero degrees might be open when you are here, and you are just going to miss the inaugral opening of the `Crown' and the `Irish Bar'....
Put it this way, you can still get a pint here
Cannot wait - not many days to go now & seeing the forecast there is going to be dumps of snow so we might drive up to the first station to have a look & play in the snow.
With the mehana in the Bansko Square how easy will it be for them to put on Sky? I need channel 101/102 for this Sat & intend to be there for many hic hrs
I understand they have opened a table tennis club in Pirin Street which has Sky TV. Dont know if you like table tennis but sure they will put the rugby on for you.
Is that the street from the square - to the 24hr Lion pub?
Dont mind a bit of ping pong - especially if that = Rugby viewing.
Where would people suggest is the best place to eat this weekend in Bansko for the most traditional dishes & what would you recommend? Ive mates coming who've never been before.
I think Id suggest Seche, then the big Kebabs, must have a shopska and also those feta filled peppers & fried goats cheese. mmm not long to go now!!
