re: Bansko on Saturday

There is only one gondola which everyone has to get to get up to the main area. From there you have a choice of 2 chairlifts initially depending which run you are making for. The piste map will make everything clear. I was there last week but am a skier. Will help further if I can.

Bansko is lovely. Enjoy.

Very Happy

Rest assured you'll manage around. There are maps in most areas. Once you get off the Gondola, you can choose between 2 chair lifts. Taking the left one will get you to skiing in the Shiligarnika area, which has the most pistes, and is served by 3 chair lifts, one of which (3-seat one) will get you up to the Todorka peak. Shiligarnika is the zone I skied on, because the pistes on the right side of the skiing zone were closed due to the heavy snowfall, including 2/3 of the Alberto Tomba black ...

I could see them digging out the chair lift stations from atop the Todorka peak. They should be open by the time you get there if another snowstorm doesn't cover them again Very Happy All in all, lots of fun! I recommend trying the "funpark" zone atop Todorka peak, which is very wide and fun to ski/board.

Enjoy! Booze

re: Bansko on Saturday

Not long to wait now Very Happy Two more boarders here, were heading for Bansko on Saturday too. We went in January when there wasn't much snow, loads of the stuff this time !! We did most of the blues and some red sections last time out, were hoping to progress to more reds if possible this time round. Stopping in the Perun. Maybe a laugh to cruise a few together if you fancy ? Very Happy
