Bansko on the 14th

Hi, I'm heading out to Bansko on the 14th and have just noticed theres the national ski championships being held there on 17-20th.

I've had a look on google maps and seen that it states it takes just over an hour to drive to borovets. Is this feasible and how much does a days ski pass cost? Just incase we get bored of Bansko.
