Hi Viv, not been to Bansko before....yet, but most ski resorts will be busier at half term. And IF you can arrange passes, ski school beforhand, it will be considerably cheaper, if you can't do this somtimes you can get the hotels to arrange them for you, but I don't know at what cost.
Hi Viv, We went to Bansko in half term last year and it was easy to book accomadation and transfers and ski packages before we travelled (2 adults and three kids). Yes the slopes were a little busier than the year before when we went in January but not much. Bansko is a friendly place with good cheap food. Go for it!!
