Bansko or Borovets?

Hi,

I went on my first ever skiing holiday earlier this year to Pamporovo. I stayed at the Perelik and had an absolutely awesome time. I loved the skiing and got the hang of it pretty quickly.
I'm now looking forward to booking another trip for early next year........ but I can't decide...... I want to go somewhere new as I've heard that Bansko and Boro' have more runs..... is there much between them? Any recommendations? I'm rubbish at making up my mind!

Bansko is the better resort for runs - but several are fairly difficult for beginners. Borovets is more like Pamporovo - quaint more friendly and great nightlife.

If I were you, I would do Borovets then maybe Bansko after you have a little more experience.

oh pete you really dont know whats going to hit you do you!!! if you thought bansko was testing, youd better get those leg muscles built up, as honestly the runs in Boro knock Bansko into a cocked hat

No problems mate. Have done Killington so Borovets holds no fears - BRING IT ON

been to boro and bansko . got to say boro is better for night life bansko night life poor and when gondola closed no skiing . if gondola closed in boro you can still ski using 4 man chair and yastrabets

Did Borovets last year but have booked Bansko for Jan.
Would have gone back to Boro but fancied a change. Stayed at the Rila, was excellent and right on the slopes. View from our room was ggggreat.
The staff in the bars/restaurants were very nice. Regardless where you come from, they know someone and a joke about it. Still smiling even now.
