Bansko or pamps - dilemma

Hi I am going back to Bulgaria on 4th March - was in Pamps last week and only ever been to Pamps ski-ing, (apart from half a day in Bansko at Christmas but no ski-ing) I have friends in Bansko who want me to try it and visit them.
Do I stick with Pamps and what I know or try Bansko?
I am intermediate level just started red runs.

Go to Bansko it's got some fantastic runs. The blues in Bansko are comparable with the reds in Pamporovo. You will improve greatly. I know Pamps has got it's own little charm and I would love to return some day. It'll probably be when I go with some complete beginners because Pamps is great for that but in my opinion Bansko is the next step up in Skiing.

I think it is that I just have a really big soft spot for Pamps, and dont want to ruin it by going to Bansko but to be honest I will probably have a better time in Bansko, going on my own but have a few friends there and no doubt will make more friends whilst there.....

I know what you mean. I am sure you could grow a soft spot for Bansko as well. Pros and cons in both resorts.

I have been to both and would choose Bansko everytime

thanks for the advice, my friends have told me I have to go to Pamps as I know loads more people there and they would not feel happy about me going to Bansko on my own.... so looks like the mates have won.
But..... next year we are all going to Bansko together for the annual trip so I will have to wait till then....
Plus Balkan wanted to charge me another £220 to change resorts.....
