I skied down to Bansko on the ski-road (the longest run) every day, fun, easy, and quicker than taking the gondola. Weather was variable. Heavy snowfall on monday and bright sunshine on tue and wed. It's lots of fun to ski the freshly groomed pistes after a heavy snowfall.
Didn't have a problem with long queues on the chair lifts or the gondola, and the pistes weren't overcrowded.
i have been to pamporovo twice and bansko for the first time this year. Bansko is the best place for skiing by a long way, the runs are fantastic. Pamporovo is the more developed Holliday resort, i love pamporovo but Bansko has stolen my heart and is my destination from now on.
