Bansko season end....

It has been officially announced that Bansko will close on the 12th April, great conditions at the moment, very quiet... more snow is forecast for next week ? but even if it does not happen there is so much snow up there it will last till July.... Skiing in Dobriniste is equally good and the lift will continue running until it is not possible to ski (June ?)

The only downside is the number of bars/restaurants wrapping up, typical BG business, if they aren't making big profits they are off, but better for those who remain.. we have traditional Easter at the beginning of April, followed by the orthodox Easter, national holiday in Bulgaria...
As a last point, the lift pass for Bansko (whole area) will be reduced to 40lv a day from the 1st of April....

Hi Steve,The lifts are due to close in Borovetts on April 15 do you know whether they stay open if the conditions are good and if they do when and how do they let people know

I have heard that conditions allowing Boro could remain open till May 1st
Others will have more info im sure..... what i can definitely say is Dobriniste will remain open till the snow goes as the lift runs all year 
O, and it's snowing again..... when will this hell end
