Bansko skiing

Hi skiers/boarders

I have never been to Bansko before. What are the pros/cons of the resort ? Is there one main gondola ? Is there any nightlife ?
I notice that there are many property developments taking place and I may possibly consider buying a small appartment if I enjoy the pistes & village etc. Would people recommend this and what is the best location, near to the gondola ?

re: Bansko skiing

Bansko is a fairly new resort but is a 'proper town' rather than commercialised man-made resort.

There is excellent skiing accessed by one Gondola (about 20 min journey). Once up the top you can acecss various different ski areas and the lovely bit is the 'ski road' that you can then ski down at the end of the day which takes you all the way back to the bottom Gondola station - a lovely gentle run Razz

Plenty of bars, mehanas etc etc - good vibrant atmosphere.

Plenty of development going on in the resort so good scope to purchase property.

Drop me an email and I will give you further information re: Bansko and also about the property side of things.

Regards.
