I know the weather is in the laps of the gods but the forecast is snow from this Wednesday onwards - 10cm of the white stuff for appetisers and hopefully more to come for the main course! Can't wait - 9 of us off to the Grand Montana in Bansko on Easter Sunday for 8 days. We were there same time/place last year and the snow was exactly the same - we were all doing snow dances as it was much needed and we had masses when we were there.

Yep! WE are there Good Friday for 9 days. Been for the last 2 Februarys but never this late. Have been sno dancing all week! We'll be in the Happy End/Lion Bar most evenings! Only 3 1/2 sleeps (leave 3am Fri!)

Here now! Slushy low down where the gondola lands, good high up, we had 4-5cms last night up top, but rained in town.
don't worry, you just need to get up higher where it's OK.
We're here till Saturday and all is cool.

Try out the 'Tavern' which is part of the Hotel Perun (under the karaoke bar). Amazing traditional food and they have a wine cellar where can choose what you want. We know its good as we went last year. We're going for our friends 50th whilst we're there and they are baking a cake for us and decorating our table! I

CharlieWe stayed there 2 weeks ago , rooms wer nice , not to far from the gondola , but the food was poor.
Good job your not eating there!
Saw some folk eating at the Happy end , did not hear any complaints!
