Bansko v Borovets

I've only been to Borovets. How does Bansko compare? In terms of slopes, proximity of hotels to lifts, price, and apres ski. Thanks!re: Bansko v Borovets

Been to both, Borovets 101% fun in the evenings, Bansko very very quiet in comparison. Ski equipment and slopes in Bansko are first class. Only problem is that the top slopes are usually closed due to the high winds. Regular shuttles from hotels to ski lift if you are in the village, only a 5 min journey. People in Bansko are not as use to visitors as they are in Borovets therefore tend not to be as much fun.

My enquiry was more speculative. I just got back from Borovets and was thinking of going again, but noticed that there seemed to be more/better pistes in Bansko and better for boarding. Thanks for your opinion!re: Bansko v Borovets
hi there!i have been to both boro and bansko (twice each), and i have to say that overall i think i prefer the newer and more up to date, Bansko.
i really like the feel of the place and the tree lined runs are great! with fantastic off piste!
the night life is not the same as boro but to be honest it can only be a matter of time for this! hope this is of some help to you. as i said its only my opinion.
