On different tour operator websites it states that Bansko's longest run is 16km and Borovet's is 12; but in Borovet's case this run is Musala pathway which isn't exactly a proper run... but is the 16km run (presumeable from top to bottom) in bansko similar to the musala pathway, or like a proper run?
Hi Dean,
Can't speak for Boro but Bansko, I'd assume the 16km would be from the highest lift on the Todorka peak all the way back down into town which is a conbination of a few runs if you look on the map. The last 6-7km or so are on the Ski Road run - which I would definitely say is a proper run - it's fairly typical of those runs that get you back down into resort in that it's tree lined and narrow in places, but it's very much what I would cosider to be 'proper'
Agree it is definately a proper run, in fact we normally end the day skiing it, get the last lift up to Todorka, then you can choose your way down, take your time and you should hit the ski road after all the ski schools and groups have cleared so you can go a little faster!!, stopping of for a snifter or two(or in Canskis case ten) at the bar by the ski road or the new wigwam. An excellent way to end the day!!.
