Bansko/Pamporovo opening dates

I am planning to visit either Bansko or Pamporovo with two friends around Dec 17. Do you know if the resorts will be opened by then? Any forecasts for the snow condition? You see, we live in Greece, and we can't wait until January, when our ski resorts will be fully operational.

I 've read that Pamporovo has very good night life... what about Bansko?
