Bansko

As it seems from webcam there is a run with snow (probably artificial) in Bansko.

I'm planing to visit Bansko next weekend (15-17 Dec).
Anyone knows if i'll be able to ski?

Knowbody can answer your question accurately mate, but it is not looking brilliant, however 48 hours can change all that.

The webcam is showing a practice slope that has been fed by snow cannons.

It's 50/50 at the moment.

to reach this run you have to walk in a mud for very long time or take a 4x4 ride.and is only 200m long.how many people are going to be there and trying to touch a litle snow patch.

Its not a practice slope its red 8 and often used for slalom races But I agree it has been prepared with artificial snow.

But then I wouldn't go out there this early anyway personally. Roll on March when I'm sure everthing will be white and luvvly jubbly. Very Happy Very Happy

I read on a website that Bansko has snow cannons to cover 80% of the runs! Anyone know if its true? I kinda don't believe it, but would love to be proved wrong...
