Going to Hotel Pirin, Bansko on 17 Jan can't wait first time to Bulg's Anyone been to Pirin before is it a good choice ?? Lets hope the snow has now arrived and stays all season for everyone. Here's to wishing the next 3 weeks away bring on Bansko !!!!!!! Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Booze

Stayed in both the Hotel Bansko (February) and Hotel Pirin (March) last season. Both hotels were good but the Pirin had the edge as it was closer to the town centre. Bansko is a cultural delight as well as an excellent ski centre for intermediates. Make sure you get out and about at night and visit the many mehana's. The food is excellent and very good value. The town is not lively as it doesn't have many night clubs or bars. Bulgarians are very welcoming, friendly and helpful, and welcome ...

Unlike Pamps and Borovets, Bansko is an old mountain village with great charm. You will love it.
