Bansko

Hi, We're off to Bansko on the 24th for a week to stay in the Hotel Karol. I've been checking this site to see if much has been mentioned about Bansko but it's all about Borrovets and Pamps. Does anyone have any general info about the skiing, the apres ski, the Hotel Karol and the town in general?

mmmmmm...Bansko..im jealous....we went there twice last season...a real treat...although we stopped in the Pirin Hotel....Bansko is a Town so lots of little Mexanas..with lots of drinks....and log fires and traditional music..and the skiing ....ffffffantastic..its also cheaper than the other resorts...I always started with a few hot wines b4 venturing out onto them slopes..just to keep me warm of course....Also the ski equipment was new last year ....very good..
