Bansko

Hi All

Off to Bansko in Feb and only ever been to Pamporovo many years ago. Please could you tell me about the resort. I am a skier of intermediate ability and like the idea of some apres ski activities, not just variety. Would be greatful for all the info from you knowledgeable folks including practicaliies like ATM, transport etc

There are plenty of atm s and banks in bansko.
As for apres-ski ther is/was an icerink if you still have energy left for it.The old town is very pleasant to walk around and there are numerous mehanas and bars that offer live entertainment.

Hi Annie
We are a group of 6 danes, staying at Hadji Georgi Hotel near the gondol fore the 6th time - before that, we have being in Borovets many times and in Pamporovo 1 time - I'm shure your will like Bansko, a real town, with very friendly bulgarian people, a lot of taverns (mehanas) and a good skiing-terrain. As the last author write try to dribble into the old town
