Bansko

We're going to Bansko on Feb. 14th for the first time ( actually first time in Bulgaria too ). Does anyone know what the Hotel Pirin is like? Does it take a long time to get to the ski school and slopes from there? Believe the snow is good at the moment, fingers crossed it'll stay like that until we arrive!
Hope someone can help us out.

Do a search on Pirin. There have been a few comments. Sound OK though. Bansco sounds GREAT

just came back from Pirin, it's a great hotel now refurbed to GB standard and 10 minutes in free bus from slopes (buses leave every 20 mins from 8.30 till about 12 then from 2.30 coming back)
Make sure you use the sauna/steam room/pool in the hotel

Many thanks for the report.

Looking forward to the long relaxing spells in the sauna already, following a little exertion on the slopes first, of course. Sounds like you enjoyed it, sure we will too

And check out the mehana downstairs if you fancy a change from the hotel food or just want a good cup of coffee after dinner. Excellent food and very welcoming!
