Bansko

I am thinking of purchasing an apartment in Bansko with a view to renting it out for most of the season. I would welcome feedback from any of you who have spent either a winter or summer holiday in this area.
What did you think of it?
Would you return?
Would you say there would be a demand for a new 2 bed apartment?
All of this would be useful in helping me to make my decision.

Regards

Mags

re: Bansko

Hi there,

Thanks for your reply. I am buying through Bulgarian Properties - do you know anything about them. Also do you think 80,000 is okay for a 2 bed unfurnished?
I am interested to know if you rent yours out as I plan on doing this and would welcome any information on that side of things.

Regards
Margaret

re: Bansko

We have just bought an appartment in Bansko through BulgarianProperties.com.
We are opting for the guaranteed rental income option, so that we don't have to worry about renting it out.
We have not actually been there, but I have done a lot of research and it seems like a good option!
Fingers crossed, I can't really see it dropping in value - prices cheap now, joining EU in 2007 etc...
Cheers
Nick

re: Bansko

i bought property here last year and am now running it relativly sucessfully, great town brilliant skiing, probably a good investment buying an appartment here if you can find someone straight to build it and manage it, for the building side be careful there is a right charming cowboy in town who latches onto foreigners very fast, as far as rental is concerned, i can't make any recomendations balkan are offering the best part of bug**all!
