Bulgaria Ski discussion board

Hi guys
I know a lot of you are off to Bansko in the next few weeks, I bet you can't wait. Can you make sure when you return us give us the low down on the resort and hotels. I know there is a good review from Malini but I've just read the resort review from Mark Thomas who returned in early January 2005. You can see from the review he did not favour the resort.

We are due to go to Bansko at the end of February and are really looking forward to it. I'm hoping that the review from Mark was just a one off and hopefully things will improve as the season goes on.

We are off on 6th Feb staying at the Strazhite - 8 of us. Daughter Dizzy staying at the Perun from 5th. I have been to Pamps the last three years and I don't think I would chance going in January, certainly not the 1st couple of weeks or any later than middle/ end March. As Paul says, looks like a big dump for the whole of BG at the end of the week - which is right on que!

I think on the whole the reports are looking excellent (have you seen YT's novel from last year!!!) and I am really looking forward to it. My only concern was for a few befinners in our party, but Mailini put my mind at rest there.
