Thinking of booking Kempinski Grand for next winter, has anyone stayed there this year, if so any info on it please.

It is not open yet.
However it has without doubt the best location in Bansko and it will be the best hotel - it is the only one with 5 stars.

From the outside it looks fantastic!

Can definately agree if it is the one i think it is, hey BB is it the one being built right beside the gondolar with the fantastic timber finish ??? What a position

As has been said, it's not yet open, but it's certainly got pole position for the gondola, not too far to walk in to town (5-10 mins, depending) for an evening out, and I'll be very surprised if it doesn't get very good reviews when it settles down - expect it to be a bit ropy for the first month or two until the team shakes down!
