Bardonecchia - Italy - Anyone Been?

Appreciate any comments - ta.Thinking of having an early season jaunt there and then maybe hitting Borovets around March.

a town rather than ski resort and a bit messy with cars allowed everywhere and any time.mega busy at the wee kends when the ski masses from Torino and beyond come for a ski weekend .Cheap coffee shops and pizza places.
if staying near the slopes (if with tour operator most likely )you will be straight into the mountain but you will be encountering other of your countrymen and women on a constant basis-about every minute or so.

Home to the Snowboard Olympics Torino2006 so ONE OF THE BEST SNOWBOARD PARKS ANYWHERE well kept and huge variety.One of the best half pipes.Snow cover OK resort about 1000m above but a lot of snowmaking and the slopes are always done extremely well so gets very boring very quickly.
if driving try and go the other side of the tunnel and into the French side for cheaper skiing. A week is OK but more will bore you .
