To all you apri skiiers out there, what will I be paying for booze at the Rila & other the bars in Boro ??

beer is cheap cant remember exact price but it is cheap very much sowe drink spirits mainly and that to is doesnt cost much
we are at the rila again 25 feb 06 half board again too but we eat out most of the time

we eat out as the food at the rila isnt to our taste
we tried it the first time we went and disliked it but the children do eat in the rila each time we go and we sit with them and so far havent see that the food is to our taste, and then with us too breakfast is ok if you are a breakfast person but dinner well it doesnt suit us there and we go out but also i like going off to try different things
there are no shortage of good places to eat

Frankos is pretty good if ya like pizza (avoid salads tho) and its just next to the rila, lots of take out places close by as well for a quick bite and aint THAT bad, same as back home really.
Beer prices differ, theyll approach ya and say "asda price" and one even smacked me on the ass, i thot i slipped outta reality for a second but it unfortunately did happen... with them saying asda price theyll say 1 lev to get ya in, but when your in its more like 2-3 lev for a beer, roughly 80p - ...

And just incase your wondering its 10 lev in the strip club thats pretty standard for shots/bottles. although if ya get a dance in the playboy place ya get a free beer, its deerer for the "dance" mind you but you wont b able to resist.
I second katys, damn cheap and DAMN good. think we were £8 each for a 6oz steak, chips and vegies and 2 pints each (there were 3 of us)
I WOULD however avoid the place (i dont remember the name) directly across from the ski hire/gondola, because we were walkin past and they woz cooking a dog, sure as hell wasnt pig shaped or cat shaped. sorry to put the picture in your head but i think it woz a greyhound type dog going by the shape of its head, size and tail

Its a shame as well coz i wanted to visit all the quieter more bulgarian than commercial pubs this year. But dont think i will coz of their ethics, I dont mind cruelty to humans (i'll show my bulgarian deathcamp pics we took in march sometime in the forum heh heh), but i draw the line at animals... its just sick... o wot a world, wot a world... ...
