Alot of the bars have happy hours that last for 2-4 hours and you get 2 for 1. Booze

hotels 4 lev per pint
bars 3 lev per pint
some bars 2 lev per pint
look out for happy hour but 1 get 1 free.
£1 =2.7 lev
stick to Bulgarian draught beer, cheaper than more familiar makes.

Again it depends where you eat, but to be on the safe side budget at say £5 per head and ya should be ok.

Kel,
last year i found if you allow £10 for a dinner and desert with a drink or 2 some resturants will be more some less but as an average you wont be far out.

we paid about 12 lev for 2 pints and 2 vodka oranges in our hotel so thought this was good Booze
