People keep saying that all beginners in Pamps will be fine but don't they only have 4 cannons which won't work in temps above 0 degrees. I've had a bad couple of months and was really looking forward to this skiing holiday... a new year etc... but if the forecasts are anything to go by at all it will rain on friday so this year may not be redeemed by our hol at all! The avg snow is now 15cm again, not 23cm.

I can't imagine PP's report being any better than the report he put together last Friday as there hasn't been any new snow since then and there isn't likely to be before his report on Friday.However, at the moment, there is a 50/50 chance of snow this weekend and later next week/beginning the following week. We will have a much better idea come Friday I think.
I'm off to Bansko on the 27th Jan, so i'm in the same boat as you.

We fly on Sun so if there ain't any at the weekend i'd say we're pretty screwed. You will prob be ok by 27th... i'm beginning to wish we'd booked later. You expect that by the middle of the second winter month ther'ess be snow in ski resorts... how wrongF***ING WEATHER

Well if you really must know Tommo, my dad is in hospital and my Fiances mum recently died... yeah it probably could be worse but cancer is one of those things that gets to most people.

You know what Rach, you'll have a blast.I was in Pamps around the same time about 4 years ago, it was Mrs IMT's first time skiing.
Although the snow wasn't the best, it was certainly all skiable and she had the best time ever, as did the other 5 newbies that I took with me. Conditions very similar now, you will love it.
