I am a loyal Borovets boy. But this season I am keen for a change and want to go to Bansko. Any advice on the best hotel to stay in. Cheers.Borovets boy

Best hotel is likely to be the brand new Kempinski Grand, right next to the gondela. Was almost finishd last season, but is ready to go now. Not the cheapest I think, but looks amazing.IMT

I would highly recommend the Perun. Stayed there in March and going again March '06 - 93 sleeps and 1 breakfast to be precise 
It was fairly new when I went this year so lovely and clean and up together - hopefully still will be this season. The food was good - well it was hot for a start! A buffet with a good choice of stuff. Facilitites were lovely and I really enjoyed both the indoor and outdoor pool each evening. Hotel runs a shuttle bus to the Gondola which is only a few ...

I am looking forward to staying there again. I did look at GK but decided a tad too much ££ for me

To be fair, he did ask for the best hotel, didn't mention £££.Because I'm going with the lads in Jan, we have opted for the less expensive hotel (Avalon) but assuming that I go back with Mrs IMT (and we need a hotel instead of a chalet) then I would go to the KG.

Went to Perun earlier this year and it was excellent.Will give more details if required.
Going to KGA next March as it looks great and is right at the gondola station at the end of the Bansko Road ski run.
