Best money to take.................

hi all,
Can you please advise, going to brovets 29th. what is best to take , English money 10 or 20?

Do they exchange £20 notes?
would you take travel cheque?
any advise would be great.

Hey there -

I have not been there before but have been advised by sister that you should take just a load of sterling (depending on your stay of course) and exchange it bit by bit -because you wont be able to change it when you return home. Plus it will be a bit useless if you never visit the resort again!!

There are no problems with changing £20 notes

I changed mine up in the samokov hotel, its about £1 to 2.6lv.

We are taking Sterling - best to take new notes, no rips or writing on them. You can get Lev here, I got some at the Nat West so I assume they will take back.

Only got £20 worth, because the rate wasn't that good.

read on ere that some places can rip you off, is this only with travel cheque. or is it best to be careful on the street.

on monday use 1 of the banks the rate last week in post bank was 2.80 to the £

they love our money take all cash or cards the best rates are in the bank's 2.80 to the £. The banks will except money with writing on but not in the hotels. Get a safety deposit box. watch out for the little cabin's up the slopes the really rip you off. Razz
