Best rates in UK high street??

Hello, i was wondering if anyone could recommend where to buy a few lev in UK for best rates?? i know it is cheaper in Bulgaria I just need 100 lev for the first night.. I was quoted approx 2.11 to the pound in a couple of places...it sounds like a rip off...when online the rates seem to be around 2.33 to the pound...Thanks in advance...

ICE Currency is 2.24 today. Order online only though. Used them and really good.

Asda are doing 2.18 & M&S 2.16, does anyone know what the bank rate is in Borovets at moment, just trying to find out how much it is to use a debit card at the bank ober there?

if your based in london these guys are great (2.25 current rate). i always use them (but then i work 1/2 a mile from their strand outlet)

I always change in resort use the banks or crown booths should ensure no problems. Open late. Rate is always better in resort last weekend 2.3.

Take £20 notes tidy clean ones. There are cash points about one at the rila bank prob best.

Use the ATM at Sofia airport or one in Borovets.

As you walk up the hill from the Samokov Hotel towards the Flora and Bobby's Bar, there are 2 banks with outside cash machines.

There are also the exchange booths, and you can change money at the Samokov Hotel reception, though you don't get quite such a good rate so best to limit this to relatively small amounts.
