Best resort??

Hi All,

I am looking to go boarding in the next month or so and have reduced my options down to Bulgaria, but now I would like to know which resort is best, based on real peoples reviews (other than agents)

Can anyone give me some tips, I would say I am beginner/intermediate

Cheers
Deano

I couldn't see past Bansko, although I have not been to any other Bulgarian restorts. (A fairly narrow minded view really)

Went last year, and booked as soonas I returned, great conditions, best I have ever had, quiet pistes, and lots of off piste opportunities! Not top mention very friendly/helpgul locals and very cheap nights out!

Whatever you do book B&B and eat out, much better to be able to chose to eat in different restaurant than the same one all the time!!!!

Hope this helps!

I would choose Bansko also. I have been to both Bansko and Pamporovo and enjoyed Bansko much more.

I would agree with Gordon the food in the town is excellent. Great value, tasty and quality.

I would not recommend borovets for boarding although i don't board. Lots of flat.

Borovets as the night life is brill, piste's are good and the night skiing cannot be beaten..
