Best time of year to ski BG?

Hi does anyone know when normally is the best time of year to ski in Bulgaria?

I know that this year has been bad but in general if you were to book in advance what ideal date would you go for?

Mid Feb? End Feb? Early March?

iv just come bk today m8 and i would say mid feb....it was AUSOME!!

Cool would you say slightly later to play it safe I hear reports that early March is normally the best.

It hasn't been cold this year at all has it I was there in Jan conditions weren't bad but it was so warm even at top of Gondola.

Hopefully next year it will be back to normal weather?????

Feb is normally the coldest and best snow but it will remain all through March. We went last week of season last year (25th March - 2nd April) and skied all week. V hot and a bit slushy by the Friday. One year went in April (extended season time exclusive to Balkan) and best snow we had ever seen. You just can't tell. Whatever, weather permitting (wind etc) you can ski up in the mountains for most of the year.
