Last week I invited you to bet on the snow that was supposed to cover everything this weekend. The question was how much snow will fall on the upper slopes in Bansko. As far as I can make it, this was just 5 cm (according to the Mountain Resque Service the snow at Banderishka Poliana last Thursday was 25cm, this morning it was 30cm).
That is not the result everyone was hoping for, but let me give you the bets that were made, at least some people will be proud of their great forecasting ...

I bow to there intuition. However, according to the Standart newspaper there is a much heavier peiod of snow expect later in the week and going into next week. Looks like i have chosen the right time for my annual week's skiing in Bansko this year. Only 5 more sleeps!!

hello bansko george,mike here, thanks for your praise ,it was a complete guess but after having a bloody good time in boro at christmas i know i would rather be out there with little or no snow than back at work !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
