I think i asked on here a few years ago, but really can't remember any info from it if anyone replied...
What is Bezbog (Dobrinishte) Ski Centre like; i've heard it's only one run, but a long one and great opportunity for off piste etc. so wouldn't get boring for a day... just wondering how easy it is to access from Bansko and if anywhere does day trips there, and prices of a lift pass for the day etc.
Hi Dean,
Steve C and Wendy took a few of us there for a day a few years back. Yes - it's only basically 1 run (a few short detours are possible if I remember) but it is very long... the chair lift (which is pretty old and doesn't slow down to let you on and can be a challenge!) has a couple of places to get off on the way up. As a guide I would say that it's similar length to if you went to to the top of Todorka and took the blues down past the goat, shili and back to bunderitsa. As I said ...

As I said though, it's a while ago and I'm just going off 1 days memory!
Was a really beautiful place though, very little development. Most of the run would be blue, with one very steep section (black) but you can avoid that if you want to (using a ski-road type thing through the trees).
i wouldn't take a beginner there cos the lift is a bit of a challenge, but was fun for us intermediates for a day. Loads of easy off piste options too.
I think it took us about 25 mins to get there... I'm sure a taxi wouldn't be very expensive.

Good report Matt, we also went with Steve and Wen, it was a few years ago but I remember it as you have described it.
It's a two man chair lift in two sections so you have to get off and back on again at a middle station, if you do not step
out of the way quickly enough it will have you over. I know to my embarrassment.
It is a long run down and the Black is a real Black, the steepest slope I have skied.
Although I have not been off piste there I have heard that it can be fantastic but ...

Although I have not been off piste there I have heard that it can be fantastic but not a bad idea to have a local guide as you can miss
the bottom lift station where your car will be and end up down in Dobrinishte and that is a long way back.
I can't remember the exact price but it was very reasonable, maybe 20 Leva for a day lift pass.
Really good day out and very near to Bansko, I would say a must do.
