Bezbog

Does anyone have anyone have any details on Bezbog.

We are going to Bansko and would like to know what the ski area in Bezbog is like, is there anywhere to get a drink and some food on the slopes etc. Any info appreciated.

re: Bezbog

Thanks Pete.

The link is great, however also after some local knowledge on things such as:

Price of lift charge
Places to eat.

Definately interested on having a day out based on what I have seen already.

re: Bezbog

Got an idea its around 15lv a day, not been down this season yet, and as for places to eat, there are a few, the hotel at the top does local food and great price, and there is a hut as well.. there are a number of places at the bottom by the lift...
The black section of piste is a test, makes Tomba look like a nursury slope Wink

re: Bezbog

Steve took us to Bezbog last year, or possibly the year before. Great place - although there is really only the one pisted run. It's long enough though (I would guess about as long as from Todorka peak to top of Gondola?), and the off piste looked awesome. Unfortunately I was on skis (which I'm rubbish on) and the powder had got a little crusty , so mainly stuck to the piste. As Steve says, the black section (which you can avoid by taking a blue track through the trees) is pretty ...

The lift pass is a less than £10, and there's a hostel type place on it's own at the top that does food + drinks, and you can stay there as well. Would be pretty amazing for a night!
The chair lift is highly entertaining (no slowing down or magic carpets here) but probably not beginner friendly! I'd definitely recommend it for a day as a change - although probably not the best for beginners.
