ok, so that just timed out on me and it looks like i posted nowt, so here i go again:

just wondering if anyone is in Bansko at the mo and can tell me if the biathlon has had much of an effect on the gondola queue or any other queue for that matter? I'm arriving on 24th and from what I can tell there's a final day of competition on sunday 25th when there will be a small amount of mayhem anyway due to everyone trying to get equipment, find instructors etc.

I know that when i was there last year there was a downhill competition and the queue was enormous

or in other words, will it be worth gettin to the gondola station at the the first break of day?
