Hi all, have just bought some solomon snowblades and they are the fixed binding type. Does anybody know if i can change them easily to release bindings like you have on normal ski's?
since this year Salomon have decided to only sell blades with auto release binding - but I wouldn't be too bothered about changing as they'll probably cost around £60+ and you may have problems getting them fitted! -
I wouldn't try putting ski bindings on as the anchor holes will most likely be different point and you'll end up weakening the base and probably breaking a leg or two!
I've used blades for years and havn't had any problems just remember to lay down if your loosing the plot ...

Would you beleive me if i told you i bought them from our local oxfam shop! Box says solomom 360 on it and i paid £ 30.00. I hired a pair a few years ago and the were great fun so i've got these so all our party can have a go. ( and anybody else who i happen to meet)
