Bithday Suprise

I have been reading this site since December after I booked a ski holiday with Balkan travel. Must say the site and information gained is brilliant. My wife has always wanted to go sking and since it is her birthday 28 March this trip will be a complete surprise to her and we are travelling to Pamporova on 27th. Particulary the ladies out there, how late do you suggest I wait until I tell her about this surprise? Finding it near impossible not to say anything.

Ah you old romantic you! I done the suprise trip myself in 2002 booked Venice for my partners 21st. Got the tickets in November and her birthday is in March. God it killed me finaly cracked with 5 days to go. What do you intend to do about ski wear for her if it is her first time?

Daniel: and you call me a romantic. Hope your suprise was worth it and it paid dividends. It is our 1st time sking and I have pre-booked ski school. Can buy the clothes that are needed locally at home but this is the reason of asking [mainly the ladies]how much pre notice would you suggest I give my wife? It takes her half a day to get ready to go out so this could turn out a nightmare

Give her at least two weekends to go shopping. Hope she likes the surprise!

Take her along to one of the outdoor shops, start picking out ski gear for yourself and see if she twigs on, then be prepared to spend lots more on her for all her gear. I reckon I could have bought everything I needed to my ski trip in 1 or 2 trips but I'm lucky living in Yorkshire where one of the outlet parks has 4 outdoor shops to choose from.

I hope you both enjoy your trip, particularly your wife, wish my hubby had the gorm to book something like that for me!!
