Board Bags

has anyone flying with balkan had any trouble with taking a Board bag that carries your board and your normal luggage (instead of a suitcase)

I have paid extra for ski carrage, I have heard airlines are being funny with these bags and are making people have their board seperate to there suitcase

anyone no wot im on about? Surprised

cheers

re: Board Bags

I know what your on about, but haven't flown with Balkan.

My mate did it last year - I think we flew with First Choice.

I guess best bet would be to ring them.

re: Board Bags

yeh ive tried that, I was amazed how unproffesional they was about it, I have booked with 1st choice, I went in and asked and every one of them was like "oh erm i er dunno" they rang bulgaria air (the one and only amazing airline) and they said that 1st choice need to ring their Bulgaria office, which of course they understand little english and obviously had no idea what we was on about!

Confused crazy! might just take the one case with the board nd everything in it and play dumb

re: Board Bags

I've been doing this for a while. I use an animal pro double board bag that fits skis, boots, all my clothes etc etc. Had no probs with Balkan for the last couple of years with the double bag and just my rucksack as carry on.
