Board hire and lift pass

Hi,

Its not really a new topic but I'm very confused. Is it better to pre-book board hire and lift pass or go to Albena ski school when I'm there and try to get it then? I don't need lessons just need to hire a board and get my pass. Should I pre-book through them. Please help!!
PS does anyone know if boards are cheap to buy over there?

re: Board hire and lift pass

I just booked Board, Boots ,Unlimited lift Pass + three 2 hr lessons for £99 for six days thru Balkan Holiday. At the end of the day you don't have to do the lessons.

I am an experienced Skier but fancied trying my hand at boarding and if the worst comes to worst i will switch to Ski's at the resort at extra cost.

At that price you cant go wrong I feel

Very Happy

Copy of note I made under Nigels posting, hope it helps. You need to pre book to make sure!!

If you call Val on number provided he will have everything sorted for you when you get there. That is what we did last season.

He is able to give you these prices as he is expecting you - turn up unannounced and you amybe unlucky. He has to get the passes from Borosport who own all the lift in the resort so he has his contacts also.

The albena Ski School is used by The Inghams ...

The albena Ski School is used by The Inghams Kindergarten and they are excellent with the children. That is how we first made contact with them as the kids had skiied the year before with Inghams.

If you go half term week Val sub contracts his instructors to Borosport so that the resort can meet demand. Bearing that in mind everyone is mixed up with different tour operators and ski schools when it is very busy!!
