We have an excellent Boarding School here in Bromsgrove. It is apparently in the top ten UK schools.
It costs around £9000 per term.
It begs the question - Boarding. How hard can it be?
The boarders tend to stay for about 6 years, spend tens of thousands of pounds on tuition and generally leave school no better on the snow than a skier who's been to Bulgaria for one week.
Perhaps it's because their reduced IQ makes it much more difficult for them to learn stuff.
The reputation for most UK boarding schools does involve the tutored having to endure an amount of pain, normally in the nether regions... this obviously does allow on leaving to have experience of the true cost physically of boarding, and possibly explains the baggy pants ?
Nudger, excellent post. Made me chuckle......great replies, just wish I could follow up, but as a skier got no experience so my nether region is in perfect condition ;-)
