Boarding to Skiing

Am going on the learn to Board Pack, flying out on the 6th, does this mean everyone else will be a day ahead of me ?? This is when our operator tells us we rae flying out, also if I dont like the boarding will it be easy enough to switch to skiing ?

You will be in a group of boarders who start on 7th, not 6th
