Did anyone else book with thomas cook before they merged with going places? We have got a new booking confirmation through and it now says superior/ deluxe room. We are staying at the lion in borovets. Wondered if this had happened to anyone else and if they do actually have superior rooms at the lion?
hi jo there is deluxe rooms at the lion as me and husband have booked them and have stayed in them before deluxe rooms are a bit bigger with seperate sitting area and a nice balcony

We also booked via Going Places before the merge and when our new Thomas Cook invoice arrived, we noticed that all our ski packages etc were not on it.
When we spoke with the travel agent who were brillant, they then spoke with Thomas Cook and have advised us to take ...

They said due to the merge all the information had not transfered over to the new paperwork. They also told us not to panic as it was all on the computer system.

best bet is to give thomas cook a call and see what they say. it may be an error on there half but then again you may have been upgraded for nothing. what ever the out come, enjoy

Hello, thank you for the replies, thats really helpful, I will give them a call and keep my fingers crossed that we have been ungraded! We stayed there last year. We are travelling on the 26th January.
